TAONGA Education Centre Charitable Trust is looking for a qualified Kaiako to join our whānau at the Āranga Centre – a place where tamariki and whānau are supported to learn, grow and thrive.

About the role:

As Kaiako, you’ll be part of a dedicated team providing a warm, safe and culturally rich learning environment for tamariki. You’ll help deliver a high-quality programme that reflects the unique identity of each child, fosters strong whanaungatanga, and uplifts mātauranga Māori in everyday practice.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A recognised ECE qualification and current NZ teacher registration

• A deep commitment to tikanga and te reo Māori

• A nurturing and responsive approach to teaching

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• A heart for working with whānau and the wider community
